Legal specialisation

Do you feel at home in the various fields of law? Our companies handle a large volume of legal translation work, particularly in the areas of civil law, notarial acts and company law.

Requirements

  • A linguistic or translation degree from a recognised research university or university of applied sciences and translation experience in one of the aforementioned fields; and/or
  • A specialist degree from a recognised research university or university of applied sciences (e.g. jurisconsult, tax law specialist), preferably in combination with translation experience; and/or
  • Extensive experience translating in one of the aforementioned fields (at least five years);
  • Professional use of one or more CAT tools (e.g. memoQ, Trados, etc.) is an advantage.
  • Sworn translator, registered at the Dutch Register for Sworn Interpreters and Translators (Rbtv).
